Job Description: SMO Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and creative SMO Specialist to join our digital marketing agency. As an SMO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive website traffic for our clients. You will leverage various social media platforms to create compelling content, manage campaigns, and optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to align with clients’ goals and objectives.
- Create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and infographics.
- Manage and maintain clients’ social media accounts, including posting content, monitoring comments, and engaging with the audience.
- Conduct social media audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall digital marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms, sharing insights and recommendations with clients.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Implement paid social media campaigns and optimize performance based on key metrics and target audience data.
- Interact and build relationships with influencers and industry partners to amplify brand reach and engagement.
- Provide social media training and guidance to clients and internal teams when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SMO Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their features, and audience behavior.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
- Creative thinking and excellent content creation skills for various social media formats.
- Understanding of social media advertising and experience with running paid campaigns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and manage relationships.
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret social media metrics to drive data-based decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
